Planning a surprise proposal in Taipei can be exciting—but figuring out where to propose, when to do it, and how to make sure everything goes according to plan can be a little more stressful.

For Mikhail, the goal was simple: find a beautiful and memorable place to propose to Kim, without giving away the surprise.

We eventually settled on Tiaoshi Bus Stop, a quiet and unique spot that offers something very different from the busy streets and tourist attractions of central Taipei.

And, thankfully, Kim had no idea what was coming.
